Hi

How about making npc's like antlions and antlionguards autospawn?

It's great for earning cash and making events without the need of an admin.

Don't know if that's possible and even if it was there would always need to be admin otherwise how are you going to get down, get back up , and not have everything go apeshit with other people. Horrible idea tbh.

I agree with that statement. Especially if they auto-spawned, wouldn't that eventually start piling up with NPC's? You'd be fucked in the ass with lag.

Sorry, but theres no way this would happen. Admins run events, not players. That and lag, 500 NPC's = 500 ping.

This is easily done. Probably the easiest to do in my opinion, All you have to do is set a spawn limit for each entity that you spawn. The only downside would be people camping points. Other than that, EASY.

I've seen many servers having auto-npcs, There were no problems with them at all

There wouldnt need to be npcs piling up you just set the system to only keep so many npcs spawned and only when theres players in range.

On second life there are thousands of zombie rps that use this method a mentionable one is the resident evil Hive rp, dotted about the map there are spawners that will spawn zombies when a player comes into range of it but never spawns more than say 5 zombies at once, so lag wouldn't be a issue.

where the issue lies for me is in exactly what was said " a good way to earn money" it would just mean rather than passive rping people would go out and start farming money from killing npcs with no real rp being done and why do you need to earn more money ive always found after doing a event you have more than enough money to restock your inventory with esentials such as ammo rations and health vials

only real advantage to it would be to make a admins live easier by being able to place a spawner and not have to manually spawn more npcs as we kill them but admins tend to do a fairly decent job of keeping the npcs coming anyway

one nice thing id like to see is someway to make the physgun fully invisible when the admins are cloaked and not have that bluie glow cause it gives away that somethings about to happen when you see them in the distance flying about
