--Information--

The Marines are a quite specialized group of individuals. The Marines are trained in advanced tactics and reconnaissance, as well as ship-borne combat. Marines drill often to keep sharp, sometimes just to keep a unit bond going. While they are well trained, they do have downfalls. While they are good at long-ranged combat, they are unable to sustain prolonged mid-range firefights, as they are lightly armed and armoured. Marine Recruits and Initiates mostly hail from the ranks of the Mobile Infantry, and are often able to bring their MI Specialty into the Marines, enhancing the unit they occupy.

--Protocol--
As the Marines fall under FLEETCOM, they will take orders from them.
A Marine does not fall under Mobile Command Jurisdiction, and therefore, are not required to take any orders from anyone in Mobile Infantry.
A Marine does not fall under Military Provost Jurisdiction, and therefore, are not subject to their command.(Basically, we can tell them to **** off)
A Marine will follow orders from Fleet Officers [Ensign+].
A Marine will protect any and all VIPs as designated by their Team Leader or FLEETCOM.
A Marine will not leave the ship unless they receive authorization from FLEETCOM.
A Marine is responsible for inner ship security against non-Federation hostile forces.
A Marine will follow the priority of life -- Fleet Officer, Fleet Enlisted, Mobile Officers, Mobile Enlisted, Marines
