Culinary Specialists - Chefs

Culinary Specialists are the cooks and chefs of the ship. They retain access to the kitchen and all available stocks of rations depending on their rank. Each Chef is permitted to work on their own time however may only cook during designated times by the Head Chef or unless commanded to by ranks above Specialist. Anyone involved with the Culinary Specialists may carry extra rations on them during missions and may hand them out accordingly.
All permissions are inherited to the next rank down in the absence of a higher rank.

Culinary Specialist Ranks:

Chef de Cuisine - Master Chef
- May designate times to prepare meals
- Has full access to the food reserves
- Adjourns over business in the mess hall up to his/her own rank.
- Reports to the Mess Hall during a Lockdown.
- May designate meals to be served
- Approves/Disapproves meals before being served.

Sous Chef - Secondary Chef
- May designate times to prepare dishes.
- Has full access to the food reserves
- Adjourns over business in the mess hall up to his/her own rank.
- May designate meals to be served
- Approves/Disapproves dishes before being served

Chef de partie - A Chef who Specializes
- May approve/disapprove dishes inside his/her own specialty.
- Has access to necessary food to his/her own specialty.
- May designate dishes to be served.

List of Specializations:
Chef Patissier - Specializes in Pastry
Chef Saucier - Specializes in Meat Dishes
Chef Poissonier - Specializes in Fish Dishes
Chef Entremittier - Specializes in Vegetable Dishes
Chef Garde Manigier - Specializes in all dishes, Usually assists all other Chefs

Commis Chef - Trainee Chef
- May cook meals with higher chefs.
- Has no access to food reserve, unless designated.
- Has access to kitchen if higher chef is present.
